China Information and Communications Academy said that in the first half of 2022, driven by the weakening impact of the pandemic, the gradual recovery of logistics and consumption stimulus policies, the electronics manufacturing industry maintained a rapid growth trend, played an obvious role in driving the overall industry and became an important pillar of industrial economic growth. As the vigorous development of 5G, new energy and other fields in China will continue to inject development impetus into the development of electronic manufacturing industry, a new round of growth cycle is expected in the second half of the year. In the first half of 2022, the added value of the electronic manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 10.2%, 6.8 percentage points higher than that of the industry as a whole. It was the fastest growing industry among the 28 major manufacturing industries (excluding other manufacturing industries, comprehensive utilization of waste resources and metal products, machinery and equipment repair industry).
